Job Overview
The Mason will perform bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, concrete-related tasks, and other general masonry duties on construction sites. Candidates should have practical experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a construction team.
What You'll Do
Perform bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, and general masonry work.
• Read and follow construction drawings, plans, and measurements.
• Prepare and mix cement, mortar, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Build walls, partitions, foundations, and other masonry structures.
• Carry out plastering, rendering, tiling, and finishing work as required.
• Measure, cut, and position bricks, blocks, and other materials accurately.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, level, strength, and finish.
• Repair damaged or defective masonry work when required.
• Maintain and safely use masonry tools and equipment.
